It's a "Hot" One

Today was the day where I didn't really need a jacket in the city.  I must say, I prefer the cooler weather, especially when that's what I'm expecting.  However, that's not what I received when I woke up this morning sweating.  Meanwhile, my three dogs were lounged over me making me even more cranky.  Yes, I love the sun shine, but typically there is a cool breeze that comes along with it here.  I guess today the breeze didn't feel like blowing in the Bay Area, and for the first time I wished for air conditioning, or at least a different geographical location.  The flip side to this heat you may be asking yourselves; I get to order take-out.  It's way to hot to cook in the kitchen tonight, so my new "Caramelized-Onion and Gorgonzola Grilled Pizza" is going to have to wait for a cooler night.

Sunshine is finally here!! It has been 70 and sunny in the bay area over the past week, and the northern Californians are breaking out the sun dresses and sandals; along with their light jackets of course. This weekend James and I had the pleasure to watch our friends pooch, Stella. As usual she was amazing and couldn't wait for the walks during these beautiful days. We walked for blocks admiring the city that brought us much love, great food, and fabulous friends. New restaurants have opened up that look amazing. One in which I visited recently, and the name; SPQR, is just one of the out there attributes that defines it. The food was so good in fact that I ate two en tree's. Now if that's not tasty, then I'm not quite sure what would be. There are new eclectic boutiques that I will definitely be hitting up for new obsessions I'm thriving for. Roasted Vegetable Pizza

This pizza is a delicious option for a healthy dinner. It literally takes less than 30 minutes to make, and when you're either working, in school, or a homemaker; time is somewhat important. Like a lot of people out there, pizza is very treasured dish. I can't get enough of it, and could probably eat a different recipe every night, however, my wardrobe probably would disagree with me after a week of it. I decided one night to use left over roasted veggies from the night before as my main toppings for this pizza recipe. I think it turned out fabulous, and hopefully you'll agree after you've tried it.
